If you’re craving sunshine, amazing food, and a warm city break let me tell you about my quick trip to Portugal which included Lisbon.

Day 1: Aperol Spritz and a Night Out on Pink Street
We landed in Lisbon and hit the ground running. Bags? Dropped. Next priority? Aperol Spritz in the sun, of course! Whilst searching for a bar, we stumbled on Lisbon’s famous yellow tram climbing a hill. Seeing it in person felt surreal, like stepping into a postcard.
Dinner that night was at a random restaurant of one of the side streets which I didn’t catch the name of. We then headed to Java Rooftop for some cocktails. Afterward, we headed to Pink Street (Calle Rosa). If you’re into nightlife, this is the place to be. The street is lined with bars and clubs, and we ended up in one with great music, drinks, and dancing until late.
Day 2: Pastel de Nata and Wandering the City

The next morning, it was all about exploring. Lisbon is such a walkable city, though I’ll warn you, it’s very hilly! Comfy shoes are a must. We started with a mission to find the best pastel de nata, and we found it at Fábrica da Nata. Seriously, these little custard tarts are worth the hype. Warm, flaky, creamy… absolute heaven.
From there, we wandered down Augusta Street, a gorgeous pedestrian street full of shops, cafes, and the prettiest architecture. It’s the kind of place where you keep stopping for photos every few steps. After more sightseeing and a relaxed lunch, it was time to head to our next destination: Ericeira, a small coastal town 35k north of Lisbon. It’s a dreamy spot if you love surf towns or just want to chill by the ocean.
