Paris Weekend Food & Travel Paris the city of love.. and wine, incredible food and just generally a lot of fun! If you’re planning a weekend getaway to the French capital, you’re in for a treat. From French pastries to sipping wine looking at Eiffel Tower. Here are some of my faves.
1. Panade Bakery Pâtisseries If you have a sweet tooth, you have to visit Panade Bakery. We picked up a fresh baguette and some French pastries to enjoyed under the Eiffel Tower (when it wasn’t raining). Their lemon tart was tangy and refreshing, while the nutty pastries were rich and flavorful. Over the weekend, we probably ate over 10 of these different treats, honestly they are that good, and every single one was different and so tasty.

2. Angelina Paris Angelina is a bit of a hotspot for visitors so I was a bit apprehensive about going here. But, I am so glad we did their French toast was one of the best I’ve ever had, crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside. And don’t leave without trying their famous hot chocolate, which is thick, rich, and did not disappoint.

3. Carette For something slightly less touristy, with less of a wait but equally delightful, head to Carette Paris. Their hot chocolate is silky and indulgent, and their croissants are flaky, buttery, and just perfect. This is an ideal spot for a classic Parisian breakfast or a cozy afternoon break.

4. Le Dali While I didn’t get a chance to dine here, Le Dali is highly recommended by locals and visitors alike. The interior is absolutely breathtaking.
5. Giraffe Dining at Giraffe was an experience. The most beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night was unforgettable. We sipped on an incredible white wine, enjoyed some caviar, and had the seabass. The service was outstanding, making this one of the best fine dining spots in Paris for a romantic evening.

6. Monsieur Bleu Paris This stylish restaurant offers a trendy ambiance and delicious French cuisine, although I did order tagliatelle (whoops, not very French of me) . If you’re looking for a spot that balances modern vibe with great food, and is also near the eiffel tower so you can watch it sparkle in the evening then this is also a great choice.
Exploring Paris
1. Montmartre is one of the most beautiful places. You can spend the afternoon walking around looking at all of the art, stopping of at the cafes. Its so beautifully quaint, you wouldn’t want to miss this.

2. The Louvre. A trip to Paris isn’t complete without visiting The Louvre Museum. Whether you’re a history lover or just want to admire the Mona Lisa, even just looking at the architecture itself.
3. Arc de Triomphe One of the most iconic Paris landmarks, the Arc de Triomphe. We took the metro, which was super easy to navigate, and climbed to the top for a breathtaking view of the city skyline.
4. The Eiffel Tower No visit to Paris is complete without experiencing the Eiffel Tower. Whether you take the elevator or climb the stairs, reaching the top offers panoramic views of the city. But the beautiful scenic view isn’t only apparent in the eiffel tower. Some of the best moments are spent relaxing on the Champ de Mars with a picnic, simply soaking in the beauty of this iconic landmark. And when night falls, watching the tower twinkle is absolutely stunning!
